Refugees in South Sudan are in desperate need. Our Team Member Christianne Foxe shares this request:“Upper Nile Refugee status update: at LEAST 50% of the refugee population is under the age of 11… the death rates of children under 5 are 4 times higher than the ‘normal’ and twice as high as the ’emergency threshold’ according to UNHCR. Please… pray for the hundreds of thousands trying to survive in these 5 camps at the border of the Sudans.”

Another SIM Sudan Team member,Vicki Beatty, adds that SIM’s Nutrition village in Doro is attempting to care for some of the children. We must remember that God loves and cares for each child…

Please join us in praying:

For the children who are suffering without clean water and food. Many of whom are also grieving and displaced.

For the SIM missionaries who are trying to bring the light and hope of Christ in these unbearable conditions.

“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.  And those who know Your Name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Psalm 9:9,10
