On The Road Again

Just returned from our second long road trip in two weeks. First we visited our church family at Centerview Baptist near Camp Lejeune NC (and BIG bonus, we were able to visit Stacey’s twin sister Stephanie and her family and their newly adopted daughter from Poland- Anastasia). Then, this past weekend we traveled to Memphis TN to see friends from Kirbywoods Baptist Church.

We’ve done quite a bit of traveling over the past three months. It is a fun (but exhausting!) part of the work God has called us to.  We meet with current and potential ministry partners who  come alongside us financially and prayerfully so that we can serve the SIM Sudan team in the vital role of Pastoral and Member care.

In November, we will be visiting Memphis again to represent SIM at a Global Missions conference.  In December, we will be in the Virginia/Tennessee TriCity area from Dec.19-30. Then in January, we will visit Jacksonville, NC again. In between times, we are hoping to visit Gulfport,MS, Chattanooga TN, and Alabama.

Please pray for us as we do all this travel -pray for safety, for blessed connections with ministry partners, for the kids as they do some schoolwork on the go, and for our 2004 van to keep plugging along!

Please also keep praying for Josiah’s passport -we did receive his foreign birth decree last week. Need his citizenship certificate to be corrected now.

Finally, keep praying for our team in South Sudan and Nairobi – daily refreshment and renewal in God’s Word and His presence.

Stacey, if you need a place to stay or a meal on your way to or from Memphis, please let us know. We’d both live to see you if it works out. …or meet you for a meal if that’s more convenient.

    Love your updates,

Hey Guys, Jesse was just asking about Ben today and I pray for you guys each time I see your picture on my freezer. Sounds like you have been plenty busy!!! We’ll keep the prayers coming, especially for Josiah’s paperwork to get fixed.

Hey Connards- would love to try to see you when you are close to Ky or Tri-Cites. Know there’s lots of people you need to see. Love & prayers.
